Bessie was a beautiful woman, Dot wasn't bad either. And the two society women who rode cross country in 1916 (can you imagine, it was hard to find gasoline, much less traveling on bad roads.) They were promoting women in the military acting as couriers. It happened in WWII, but their trip didn't accomplish anything other than that they did it.
